About
About me
As a child I was always drawing little sketches and cartoon characters. That resulted in an education in creativity and multimedia. I studied Multimedia Design in Eindhoven at the The Eindhovense School (MBO).
During my studies I started the company Digital Material in 2001. With my own business I was able to grow as a designer and entrepreneur. It shaped me into an all round designer with experience in digital design (UX, UI, VD), graphic design and branding.
My career started at a small design agency in Eindhoven. After 18 months I switched to Full Service Internet agency called Colours. As a visual designer I worked on cases for companies like Efteling, Philips, Maxi-Cosi, Hartstichting and various other projects.
My next chapter was at CZ Zorgverzekering, my first experience with a big corporate. After 16 months I got the opportunity to start freelancing which I did. For Driessen HRM and AkzoNobel.
After that I landed at bol, thé e-commerce company in The Netherlands. I started during covid, which was challenging and exciting at the same time.
Besides my daily job at bol and Digital Material, I enjoy playing basketball, go out for a run, love to travel, festivals, hang out with friends and family, watch a movie or a good tv serie and have a drink.

My birthplace: Heusden
In August 1983 I was born in Heusden. A charming town nestled in Noord-Brabant, I grew up surrounded by its rich history and scenic beauty. Heusden is renowned for its perfectly preserved fortress, complete with star-shaped moats and centuries-old ramparts, offering a glimpse into the Netherlands' golden age of fortification. Strolling through its cobbled streets, you’ll find picturesque canals, quaint boutiques, and historic windmills that paint a picture of Dutch life in bygone eras. Fun fact: Heusden was one of the first Dutch towns to restore its fortifications to their original grandeur, turning it into a beloved destination for history enthusiasts and travelers seeking authentic charm. This unique blend of history and beauty has always been a source of inspiration.
Currently living in 's-Hertogenbosch
Since 2016 I am living in 's-Hertogenbosch. Also known as Den Bosch, or during Carnaval as Oeteldonk. A city that feels like a large town. It is renowned for its warm hospitality and rich cultural heritage, Den Bosch is a place where history and modern life blend seamlessly.
I live in the district called Paleiskwartier. It is one of the most modern and dynamic neighborhoods in ’s-Hertogenbosch, known for its striking contemporary architecture and urban design. Situated just west of the city center, it has transformed into a vibrant area where innovation meets sustainability. The district is home to sleek residential buildings, creative workspaces, and lush green spaces, including a picturesque water basin that mirrors the modern skyline.
Personal life
In Den Bosch i'm living together with my girlfriend and our cat. Together, we enjoy exploring the world through travel, immersing ourselves in the energy of festivals and concerts, and discovering new flavors at restaurants. Time with friends and family is always cherished, whether it’s a lively gathering or a quiet evening together. Balancing our love for adventure with moments of relaxation, we also appreciate simply hanging out at home, enjoying each other’s company.
